Nashville Rounds
Frequently asked questions
Know the schedule. Check the lineup. Go hear the writers.
What is a writers round?
A writers round brings songwriters together to take turns playing their songs. You’ll often hear the stories behind them, too. Each organizer runs the show a little differently.
Does a listing confirm a show on a specific date?
No. This is a directory of usual schedules, not a live event calendar. Weekly rounds can take a night off, and monthly or occasional rounds happen on selected dates. Check the organizer’s latest post before heading out.
Where do I find who’s playing?
Open the listing’s Instagram, Facebook, or official website link. The organizer’s current announcement is the place to check the lineup, exact date, start time, and any changes.
What time zone are the listings in?
All start times use Nashville’s local time: Central Time. The homepage also chooses the current day in Nashville.
Are the rounds free and open to all ages?
It depends on the event and venue. Use the admission filter to find listings marked free or ticketed, then confirm the cover, tickets, and age restrictions with the organizer or venue. A free show is not necessarily all ages.
Why do some listings have no directions?
Some rounds change venues. When a location varies, check the organizer’s latest announcement for the address. We don’t offer directions to a venue we can’t confirm.
How do I add a round or fix a listing?
Submit a round with its usual schedule, venue, and official link. For an existing listing, use its correction link or send a correction. Submissions are reviewed before publication; sending one does not publish it automatically.
Is the directory free? Can my business advertise?
Browsing and submitting a round are free. Paid business ads and sponsored placements are labeled. To ask about a placement, send an advertising inquiry.
